How do I prepare for my appointment?

Avoid blood thinners (aspirin, ibuprofen, fish oil) for 48 hours before your appointment. Do not consume alcohol 24 hours prior. Come with clean skin — no makeup on the treatment area. Avoid sun exposure, retinol, and chemical peels for 2 weeks beforehand.

What is the healing process like?

Days 1-3: Color appears 30-50% darker — completely normal. Days 3-7: Light flaking as the skin heals — do not pick. Days 7-14: Color softens and settles to its true shade. Full healing takes 4-6 weeks.

Can I get PMU if I have existing tattooed brows or eyeliner?

Yes, with a consultation. We evaluate existing work to determine if a correction or enhancement is possible. Faded, warm-toned, or misshapen prior work can often be improved or covered. In some cases, lightening treatments may be recommended first.
