We apply a professional-grade topical numbing cream before and during your procedure to maximize comfort. Most clients describe the sensation as light scratching or tickling. Sensitivity varies by area — eyeliner tends to be the most sensitive, while brows and lips are generally very comfortable.

How do I prepare for my appointment?

Avoid blood thinners (aspirin, ibuprofen, fish oil) for 48 hours before your appointment. Do not consume alcohol 24 hours prior. Come with clean skin — no makeup on the treatment area. Avoid sun exposure, retinol, and chemical peels for 2 weeks beforehand.

What is the healing process like?

Can I get PMU if I have existing tattooed brows or eyeliner?

THE PROCESS:
1. Consultation — we map your brow shape and eyeliner style together before any pigment touches your skin
2. Numbing — topical anesthetic applied, typically 20–30 minutes
3. Brow service — your chosen technique applied with precision, hair-by-hair or shaded as selected
4. Eyeliner service — liner applied along the lash line in your chosen thickness and style
5. Review — we check symmetry and shape together before you leave

HEALING TIMELINE:
- Days 1–3: Some redness and initial swelling, color appears very dark
- Days 4–7: Mild flaking and peeling — do not pick
- Days 8–14: Color softens significantly, may look patchy — this is normal
- Day 30+: True healed result visible, pigment settles to final tone
- Note: Brows and eyeliner may heal at slightly different rates

AFTERCARE:
- Keep both areas dry for the first 7 days — no sweating, swimming, or steam
- Apply provided ointment to brows and eyeliner twice daily for 5–7 days
- Do not pick, scratch, or rub the treated areas
- Avoid sun exposure during healing — no tanning beds
- Do not apply makeup over treated areas until fully healed
- No Retin-A, acids, or exfoliants near the treated areas for 4 weeks
