3. Color Formulation: Custom color mixing to neutralize unwanted tones and create natural results

5. Application: Cover-up using appropriate technique (shading, combo, or hair strokes)
6. Touch-Up: Included session to build color and perfect results

TECHNIQUES WE USE FOR COVER-UP:
Depending on your existing tattoo, we may use:
- Ombre/Shading (best for most cover-ups)
- Combination (hair strokes + shading)
- Color Correction (neutralizing unwanted tones)
- Strategic placement to work with existing pigment

IMPORTANT TO KNOW:
- Some very dark tattoos may need lightening or removal first (we can refer you)
- Cover-up may require 2-3 sessions for best results (quoted separately)
- Results vary based on existing tattoo darkness and depth
- Very dark or deep tattoos have limitations
- Realistic expectations discussed during consultation
- We'll be honest about what's achievable

CONSULTATION IS ESSENTIAL:
Every cover-up is unique. Your free consultation includes:

HEALING TIMELINE:
- Days 1-10: Initial healing, may look darker
- Weeks 2-4: Old tattoo may peek through (normal during healing)
- Weeks 4-6: Complete healing, see true results
- Week 6-8: Touch-up appointment to build color and coverage
- Additional sessions: Scheduled if needed for complete coverage

WHAT TO EXPECT:
Cover-ups are more complex than fresh PMU. Initial appointment takes 2.5-3 hours. You may need 1-2 additional sessions for full coverage of very dark tattoos. We build color gradually for best, most natural results.

NOT ALL COVER-UPS ARE POSSIBLE:
- Very dark black tattoos may need laser lightening first
- Deep body art tattoos cannot be covered with PMU
- Some tattoos are too large or poorly placed
- We'll evaluate honestly and refer for removal if needed

AFTERCARE:
Same as regular PMU, but even more important:
- Keep brows completely dry for 10 days
- Apply healing ointment as directed
- No picking or scratching
- Avoid sun exposure
- Be patient - results improve with touch-up
- Additional sessions may be recommended
